The BG31 Snap-Top Marine Battery Box is designed for Group 24-31 batteries, including 12-volt automotive, marine, RV, deep-cycle, and lithium-ion types. It features a reinforced snap-top design with a honeycomb lattice for rigidity and ruggedness, aiming to provide solid protection in demanding environments. Installation is simplified via pre-drilled internal pilot holes for direct mounting without a battery strap, or use of a new strap mount system for tougher setups. Its cable routing is enhanced by front and side entry ports and optional ventilation holes for improved airflow. The box accommodates multiple installation directions and is built to resist impact down to -20°F (-28°C) and to withstand exposure to acid, gas, UV, and oil. Included components are the BG31 Battery Box, a Battery Divider, a 48-inch Battery Hold-Down Strap, a Battery Mounting Tray, and four self-tapping screws. It also meets USCG 183.420 and ABYC E-10.7 specifications.
