The head includes a sliding 1/4”-20 mounting bolt to balance the load for stability, and slow-motion control handles allow fine, precise adjustments for following objects across the sky. For larger movements, the mount can be moved manually with the azimuth friction clutch helping to maintain position. When the azimuth lock is disengaged, the head can rotate freely for full 360° movement. This setup emphasises durability and practical handling in a heavy-duty alt-azimuth configuration.
