This compression driver from Celestion combines a single-piece polyimide diaphragm and surround with a rear cover, simplifying replacement. It is rated for 35W continuous (70W AES peak-test based) with an 8Ω impedance and a sensitivity of 106dB, measured on axis at 1W / 1m in a 2π anechoic setup. The device is designed for high-frequency reproduction from 1,500 Hz up to 20,000 Hz, with a recommended minimum crossover of 2,200 Hz at 12 dB/octave. The 35mm (1.4-inch) copper-clad aluminum voice coil works with a ferrite magnet, and the diaphragm and surround are polyimide. Overall dimensions include a narrow footprint (width 46.5mm / 1.8in) and a mounting pattern featuring four M6 holes on a 76mm (3in) PCD, with a 25mm (1in) fitting for throat exit.
