The AEM X-Series In-Line Wideband UEGO Air/Fuel Controller is a high-response, inline wideband controller designed for automotive use. It ships with a Bosch 4.9Lsu wideband sensor and is factory calibrated for immediate integration. The unit supports data logging and feedback control via 0-5V output, RS232, and AEMnet CANBUS. It enables daisy-chaining up to 16 cylinders, making it suitable for multi-channel setups. The design emphasizes fast response times, having been noted as the fastest responding among 18 wideband controllers in an independent comparison. While primarily aimed at performance tuning, the product is explicitly for race use with sensor warranty restrictions: there is no warranty for the Lambda sensor, and sensor returns are not accepted. Calibrations can be maintained over time with optional free-air calibration as the sensor ages, although factory calibration is provided.
