The Smiley 3.0 LED helmet from ABUS is designed for children, offering a combination of protection and practical features. It uses an impact-resistant outer shell with shock-absorbing foam foamed into it, created via the in-mould process for a durable bond. The helmet provides a deep fit that protects the neck and temple areas and features a visor-like front edge to shield the face. Size adjustment is handled by a wheel at the back, tightening the head-enclosing ring to fit the wearer’s head circumference. An additional height-adjustable system at the back creates space for long hair or a plait. A rechargeable LED rear light (USB) and reflectors boost visibility on the road. Ventilation is addressed with four air inlets and four outlets, with fly nets to keep insects out. The helmet is unisex, sized S (45-50 cm), and comes in pink with a strawberry pattern, including a chin pad.
