A log gamma option and a LUT Display feature help with colour grading and exposure planning, while HDR helps reproduce bright and dark areas more naturally. The GH5S can output real-time 4:2:2 10-bit video to an external monitor or recorder via HDMI, with time code synchronization available using a bundled accessory, aiding multi-camera workflows. It also offers VFR functionality for slowed or accelerated footage and supports multiple aspect ratios (4:3, 17:9, 16:9, 3:2) without changing focal length margins. The camera is compatible with the new LUMIX Tether for Streaming (Beta) software, enhancing livestream setups.
