Shanling UA6 Flagship USB Dongle DAC and Amp (Black)
Product Description
The UA6 is a flagship USB dongle DAC and amplifier that uses four CS43131 chips to form an advanced acoustic matrix. It delivers strong current output and supports high-resolution audio formats, including 768kHz/32-bit PCM and DSD512 hardware decoding. An ultra-variable frequency technology helps maintain stable temperatures and lower power consumption, contributing to a warm and engaging sound signature. The device offers dual DAC operation and four DAC mode switching, enabling users to tailor the sound across different configurations. Battery management and intelligent pre-buffering help deliver cleaner signal output and steadier performance with power-sensitive devices, such as iPhones. During dynamic playback, the UA6 can supplement power from its battery to reduce fluctuations and sustain performance. A low-noise, high-current LDO power chip supports Shanling’s noise control approach, delivering a quiet background for clearer, more expressive detail. For gaming, a Hold-and-plug action lets the UA6 act as an external DAC/amp for Nintendo Switch when the screen shows UAC1.0. Control and fine-tuning are available through the official Eddict Player app (Android only), offering volume adjustments, five filter options, dual/ four DAC modes, high/low gain, and channel balance. The app extends to font colour, font type, screen rotation, and theme customisation. The UA6 ships with a 7-strand, 18-core high-purity oxygen-free copper cable for clean signal transmission and richer sound. Its interchangeable cable design broadens compatibility with iOS, Android, and PC devices. A standard Type-C cable is included, and macOS does not require drivers, while Windows users should obtain the UA series USB driver from Shanling’s official site if needed.
