SpeedBox is a tuning device designed for Bosch Performance Line CX Gen 5 Smart System bikes that use a Rim Magnet. It unlocks the speed limit and allows operation with software versions up to 15.24.1. Installation is described as easier since there is no need to search for the Magnet Simulator position. It supports Power Line CX, 5th Generation E-bikes with Rim Magnet and is not compatible with standard magnet ABS systems or 4th generation motors. The device enables a maximum speed setting that can be raised beyond the typical limit, with a recommended operational cap of 35 km/h. Users can choose between multiple modes to adjust power output, and the last displayed speed limit is saved after 15 seconds of inactivity. A countdown process is required after finishing a ride before turning off the bike. An activation/walk function can change the speed in 5 km/h increments, and the correct travelled distance is displayed after countdown. A dedicated installation video is available for guidance.
