The Orion-Tr Smart DC-DC Charger provides three-stage charging to efficiently and safely top up a service battery from the vehicle’s or boat’s alternator. It is designed for dual-battery systems, where the start battery or alternator is used to charge a separate service battery. This model outputs 30 amps (360 watts) and is isolated, which helps prevent cross-charging issues between batteries. A built-in Bluetooth connection lets you monitor status and adjust settings via the VictronConnect app on a smartphone or tablet, offering visibility of charging phases, battery voltages, and charging state. The charger is compatible with both lead-acid and lithium batteries, and multiple units can be connected in parallel to scale output power.
