The Airmega 450 from Coway is designed for larger rooms, delivering strong purification performance with a CADR of 734 m³/h. It can clean up to 304 m² in one hour and uses a 3-in-1 filter system that combines a vacuumable pre-filter, activated carbon, and a True HEPA filter. This setup targets dust, allergens, VOCs, odours and ultrafine particles, with claims of capturing particles as small as 0.01 microns. Real-time air quality is shown via a full-spectrum AQI display that includes PM1, PM2.5, and PM10 readings, allowing the unit to adjust fan speed automatically for efficient purification. The purifier operates with fully automated modes and includes Sleep Mode for quieter night-time operation and Eco Mode to reduce energy use when the air is already clean. It features a multi-level LED ring for at-a-glance readings and ambient lighting. The unit is built for durability, with filters lasting up to about 12 months depending on use, and the purifier estimates actual usage to maximise filter life. Installation is plug-and-purify with no app or Wi-Fi required, enabling full automatic operation straight out of the box.
