Best iPhone 11 Pro Screen Protectors 2026

Why You Need a Screen Protector

When we buy a top-of-the-line device like the iPhone 11 Pro, it’s only natural to want to keep it in pristine condition. A screen protector serves as a frontline defence against scratches, drops, and everyday wear and tear. Imagine accidentally placing your phone face down on a rough surface or having keys jostle around in your pocket; without a screen protector, even minor incidents can leave unsightly marks and scratches on your screen.

Saving on Repairs

Replacing a cracked or damaged screen can be an expensive ordeal, often costing more than a good quality screen protector. By investing in a protective layer, we can significantly reduce the chances of damage, ultimately saving ourselves time and money on repairs and replacements.

Enhancing Resale Value

If you plan to upgrade your iPhone in a few years, maintaining its condition is key to securing a good resale value. A screen without scratches or cracks will undoubtedly appeal more to potential buyers, making a screen protector a smart investment.

Material Type

The material of the screen protector is crucial for its performance. We should consider options such as tempered glass or flexible plastic, with tempered glass being the more robust choice that offers excellent protection against impacts and scratches. It mimics the feel of the original screen perfectly, making it a favourite for many.

Clarity and Touch Sensitivity

Look for a screen protector that boasts high transparency and touch sensitivity. We want to ensure that our experience remains uninterrupted, allowing for sharp visuals and smooth interaction. Many high-quality protectors are designed to retain the original clarity and responsiveness of the iPhone 11 Pro screen.

Ease of Installation

Some screen protectors come with installation kits or guides that make the application process straightforward and hassle-free. We appreciate protectors that allow for self-application without bubbles or misalignment, as this helps to maximise effectiveness and aesthetic appeal.

Additional Features

We might also find features such as anti-fingerprint coating or blue light filtering beneficial. An anti-fingerprint layer keeps smudges at bay, leading to a clearer display. Similarly, blue light filtering protectors can reduce eye strain, making them a great option for those who use their phones extensively.

Best Overall: Premium Tempered Glass Protector

For the best all-around choice, we recommend a high-quality tempered glass screen protector. This option balances durability, clarity, and touch sensitivity perfectly, providing the best shield for our device against daily hazards.

Best Budget Option: Flexible Plastic Protector

If we prefer a more budget-friendly alternative, a flexible plastic screen protector can be a great choice. While it may not offer the same level of protection as tempered glass, it still provides basic protection from scratches and is more economical.

Best for Privacy: Privacy Filter Protector

A privacy filter screen protector can be ideal if we’re concerned about prying eyes. This type limits visibility from angles, ensuring that only we can see what’s on our screen, making it perfect for use in public spaces.

Preparation Before Application

Before we start applying a screen protector, we should ensure the screen is clean and free from dust. Using a microfiber cloth, we can wipe down the screen and remove any fingerprints, making sure to follow with an alcohol wipe if provided.

Aligning the Protector

The next step involves aligning the protector with the phone’s screen. Most protectors have markings or edges that help in precise alignment. We should gently place the protector on the screen, ensuring that it fits well without any obstruction.

The Application Process

Once aligned, we can apply the protector slowly, beginning from one edge and pressing it down gently. Using a credit card or similar object, we can smooth out any bubbles that might form, working from the centre outwards until the protector is fully adhered.

Final Touches

After application, we should give it a moment to adhere fully. We can wipe down the edges to ensure they are sealed and ensure a flawless finish. With a little patience and attention, we can perfectly apply our screen protector and enjoy the peace of mind that comes with it.
